Church Family and Friends, there’s much news to share with you this week. Please read our weekly announcements below.
- COMING SOON: Starting in May, PFWUMC will be starting a new Prayer Ministry called: The Power of Prayer Line. This will take place every Thursday evening beginning on May 13th from 7:pm to 7:30 pm via Conference Call. Callers may call in to ask for prayer on any Issue that they need to be lifted up in prayer. This will be another opportunity to Praise God for His Blessings as well as to ask God for His blessings. Information on how to call in will be available soon.
- UMW Mission: Stamps for Wounded Veterans: Remember to cut out the stamps a little larger than the stamp itself. Keep adding to your stamp stash until the church building reopens, then place your collection for donation in the UMW mailbox in the Speed Bump area. We will periodically remind church members about this effort throughout the year.
- The UMW will meet on Monday, April 12, at 12:00 p.m. via telephone conference call.
- The CARE Committee will meet via phone conference call at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13.
- Adult Bible Study has begun. We are studying Exodus and Leviticus now that we have finished Genesis. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, @ 12 pm via Zoom. All are welcome to join! If interested please contact Pastor Moore and he will make sure you get the necessary materials and information to participate. We look forward to seeing you there. - Prayer and Praise Ministry teleconference meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, @ 2:00 PM. All are welcome to join! We need more Prayer Warriors. Our Ministry is a very important ministry If interested please contact Sandy Russell or Cathy Blankenbaker for details. Their contact information can be found in the church directory.
- ZOOM VBS will be held Friday, June 25, 2021, and Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm Available to children ages 5 to 12. You must register your child in advance to attend. Registration ends Tuesday, May 25, 2021. An attachment with all of the information concerning VBS went out last week with the Invitation to Worship Service. If anyone has any questions about VBS, please contact our Superintendent of Sunday School Ms. Jocelyn Moore. Contact information is located in the Church Directory.
- Christmas in April is planning to have their annual event on Saturday, April 24th. The event will be reduced to 10 volunteers at each site location. You must be 18 years old. Skilled trade individuals are in urgent need. House assignments will begin next, if you are interested please contact Shirley Gillespie as soon as possible. - PFWUMC NOW OFFERS OUR CONGREGANTS THE CHOICE OF ONLINE GIVING/TITHING IN ADDITION TO MAILING IN YOUR TITHINGS. You may access the online giving link by visiting our website at https://pfwumc.org/online-giving.

- At this time, we are looking for volunteers (anyone with digital camera, electronic presentations, database skills) who would be interested in working with our IT Ministry. This will be the group that will be working and training to assist with streaming our services live once our building is reopened.
